The Kauffman
Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership supports teacher training
and classroom implementation for Mini-Society® in grades
three through seven. The purpose of the support is to provide
training for prospective Mini-Society instructors in the content
and methodology required to successfully implement Mini-Society
in their student environment.
Training
consists of a minimum of twenty hours of interactive instruction
from a certified Mini-Society trainer. Workshops are conducted
for twenty-five or more instructors (either from school classrooms
or from youth organizations).. Participants increase their
knowledge of economics and entrepreneurship while learning
the experience-based instructional strategy of the Mini-Society.
Participants in the workshop also receive the following set
of Mini-Society books written by Dr. Marilyn Kourilsky:

- Economics:
Debriefing Teachable Moments
- Law,
Government & Ethics: Debriefing Teachable Moments
